Circa 1880

Ensemble of three white biscuit busts on cobalt bleu piedouche bases. The large one represents French président Jules Grevy from 1879 till 1887, after the model of Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse who was director of the Sevres manufactory from 1875 till 1887. It was molded in 1880 and gilded in 1880 as well. Then there is Voltaire, French writer and philisopher. The white is dated 1883, the gilding took place in 1892. Finally there is George Cuvier, French anatomist. His bust is dated 1880 and 1181. All in good condition.
