Large landscape at the edge of the forest of Fontainebleau. Beautiful light effects in the center and in the sky using yellow and white touches. Large brushstrokes give to this naturalist landscape an impressionist vibe. Signed and dated 1881. Oil on canvas with large antique frame.

Litr: Keymeulen, landscaper born in Blegium, was very close to the Barbizon school of art. He stayed there alongside the Calvados and Ardèche region in France. He exhibited in Brussels (1872), Philadelphia (1876) and Paris (1880). Work in the museum of Liège (BE).
