Littr.  The Moreau family is the most important dynasty of french sculptors. Auguste is the 3rd son of painter and sculptor Jean-Baptiste Moreau. He starts his initiation with his brother Mathurin. He will exhibit regularly a large number of works at the Salon between 1861 & 1913. His subjects such as allegories, genre scenes and his gracious and realistic style links him to the Moreau dynasty. Works in the museums of Bordeaux, Dijon, Gray, Reims & Troyen.
